My thoughts on film and life.

I recently watched a low budget movie called “Frozen”. I figured it would be another laughable horror movie, that would be fun to watch but totally unrealistic. And boy, was I wrong.

“Frozen” is about three teenagers who get accidentally left on a ski-lift. The are stuck very high up, in the dark, and they are freezing. How do they get help?

“Frozen” disturbed me so much I was wide awake in bed and had to watch “Robot Chicken” in bed to calm me down and go to sleep. It’s not that the images themselves were disturbing in “Frozen”, but instead it was the realism. The things that happen in this movie are simple, but they stay with you. I think it is the true definition of a horror movie – it messes with your head.

The acting and filming is OK, but it’s the simplicity that makes this movie so good. No crazy special effects, but just enough to make you feel like they really are stuck there.

I don’t want to say anymore. I don’t like ruining movies. But this movie is definitely worth seeing!

    • Mum started doing WordPress as part of a project, and she suggested I try it. I still find it a bit confusing, but I’m working on it.

      • I find it confusing too, I don’t think it’s as user friendly as LJ. I only started a journal for a class project myself.
